Tracy Moore Has "Explosive" OSU Pro Day
MARCH 14, 2014, STILLWATER, OK - Oklahoma State wide receiver Tracy Moore wowed the crowd at the university's pro day on Thursday, March 13.
With scouts on hand from 32 NFL teams, including Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, the Tulsa-native ran a 4.58 40-yard and completed a 37' vertical jump. At 6' 2' and 205 lbs., the wide receiver also caught all of his passes during his offensive drills.
These impeccable numbers put Moore right in line with the numbers from top receivers at last month's NFL Combine.
'I really showed off exactly what I wanted to,' said Moore of this pro day. 'I got a great number with my vertical jump, and I caught the ball when I was supposed to. I'm just excited to see where it all goes.'
Agent Derek Spearman also sang his praises for the budding star.
'In all, Tracy had an extremely explosive day,' said Spearman. 'He looked great and lean out there, and scouts and head coaches expressed interest following his amazing performance.'
Spearman is not the only fan Moore has - Texas Longhorns head coach Mack Brown has been outspoken about Moore's career potential.
'You look at Tracy Moore as one of the best receivers in the country right now," said Brown during the 2013-14 season. "He's a top pro prospect. Tracy Moore is 6-foot-2, 215 pounds…he's a big, tall guy that can run. He is definitely their [OSU's] threat inside."
